Warriors is a competitive swimming club based in Warrington, Cheshire, UK with over 250 swimming members. Swimmers over 6 years old and of all abilities are catered for from skill development through to National Qualifiers following national guidance for the development of competitive swimmers.

Warriors welcomes swimmers with disabilities and provides a supportive and inclusive environment to develop their skills and how to apply or exemptions and classifications required for competitions.

Warriors of Warrington in partnership with LiveWire’s Swim Training Scheme aims to co-ordinate a structured development programme for swimmers aged 6 years and upward who show potential, and promote opportunities for their journey to the highest level in competitive swimming, synchronised swimming and water polo.

The club has produced British Age group records, British Age Group Champions and Swimmers who have joined British Swimming English Talent Programs, including the 2012 Olympic Potentials Scheme.

Woolston Pool Closure.

Woolston Neighbourhood Hub is currently undertaking repair work to both swimming pools. Both pools will close from Monday 16th November for approximately 5 months.

Woolston squad sessions will move as follows from Monday 16th November until further notice:

Tuesday 5-7am will move to Great Sankey 5-7am (Orford as normal).

Tuesday 4-9pm sessions will all move to Sankey as a straight swap.

Friday 5.15-7am will move to Great Sankey 5.15-7am

Friday Masters 9-10pm session will move to Orford 9-10pm.

Saturday 6.30 – 8.30am session will move to Great Sankey.

Swimmers who currently swim with National Elite / National Development will move to Broomfield’s on Saturday mornings from 21st November. Swimmers who are not in these groups will not train at Broomfield’s due to limited numbers and will remain at Great Sankey.

Swimmers who swim in Development Group Woolston on Sundays 8.30-9.30am will have the choice of moving to ONE of the other Development Groups below starting week commencing 16th November.

Wednesday 4-5pm Orford
Friday 5.30-6.30pm Broomfields
Sunday 6.15-7.15pm Great Sankey
